Special Vendor Gear Cheat Sheet

Quick screenshot showing where the various level 31 gear blueprints can be obtained.

All these blueprints require phoenix credits in order to be bought. And the DZ related blueprints require high end division tech which can only be farmed inside the dark zone. DZ6 location is at the top of the game map, inside the church safe house. A special gear vendor will be located inside that will sell to rank 50 players. BOO is base of operations, a special vendor is in the tech wing on the second floor.

Solo Phoenix Credit Farming

How to solo farm phoenix credits in the Dark Zone!

This is a short guide on how to effectively solo farm phoenix credits in the Dark Zone since the other method has been nerfed. This will involve killing groups of NPC's in the level 30 range.

Start by going to Madison's Stand Safe house.
  1. Enter the Darkzone from bottom right entrance
  2. Go to Alley and kill named npc
  3. Go to landmark and kill named npc
  4. Go to Division Tech building and kill named npc
  5. Go to sports mall building and kill named npc
  6. Restock at the safe house
  7. Kill named npc at the library landmark
  8. Check to see if division tech boxes are available south of library
  9. Extract
Repeat Step 2 thru 9.

*Note* - This has been patched and no longer works!

Guide on how to effectively solo farm phoenix credits on the regular map.

Step 1
  • Go to Midtown East
  • Select Side Mission called Rescue: Midtown East Civilians
Step 2
  • Go to the entrance of the mission
  • Kill the Elite Boss NPC named "Apollo" and leave all the other NPCs up
  • Loot Elite Boss NPC and then die to the remaining forces.
Step 3
  • Repeat steps one and two.

Notes:
Do not complete this mission, its unknown if this spawn is available if mission has already been completed. If you already completed this mission, you maybe able to join another persons session to make it respawn. This character drops one to three phoenix credits and at least 2 purples, max so far I've seen is 4 purple drops. This is great for material farming also, on the way to the location there is a tool and fabric spot, go there very 2 hours.

Resource farming

Some are calling this a unlimited resource exploit, I'm not sure its a exploit to the extend of exploits because its not fast to do and requires random open groups to cycle the session.

Question:
How does the unlimited resource exploit work?

Answer:
Go to a area on the map that has the resource you require, loot all of the containers, then set your group to open and join other random open groups to cycle in a new session.  Repeat this over and over until you have enough of the selected resource type.

Another way to farm resources:
  • Create a low level alt character
  • Switch back to main character, put purple weapons from loot drops into your stash, fill it up.
  • Switch to alt character, get items out of stash, sell it to vendor for credits.
  • Use credits to buy blue or better items from vendors using the low level alt since prices will be extremely lower.
  • Put items into stash, switch to main character and deconstructe all the items for resources.
  • Repeat.

US Launch plagued with server issues

Ubisoft servers not able to handle the US Launch for The Division.

For the start, the game needed patch download of around 3GB in size which worked. As soon as I entered the game, it started with a video then to character creation which ended up crashing. After that the video restarted which I wasn't able to skip. Second time at the character creation screen worked and was able to play the game for about 30 minutes.

At this point the ubisoft website is down, uplay service is not working correctly, and the game keeps trying to connect but stalls and shows a Mike 20170828 error.

More Error Codes

Very disappointing so far to see the issue happening in 2016.

Update:
A screen popped up with "Attention: Due to server errors, your characters are currently locked. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you. You can force unlock them and revert back to the previous saved data, but some progress may be lost."

I did a force unlock, and it seems so far I'm back in the game, around 45 mins of downtime.

Skins

Listed here are all the various skin types and colors available in The Division.

Leveling up

Listed here is your players leveling up attribute progression for firearms, stamina and electronics.

Example, at level 1 with a base value of 20,  firearms increases weapon damage by 20%, stamina increases health by 20%, electronics increases skill power by 20%. Do this for the rest of the levels to see stat progression.

High End Weapon Blueprints

Listed here are high end weapons that have blueprints discovered while data mining the game client.
  • Damascus Blueprint
  • Liberator Blueprint
  • Tenebrae Blueprint
In order to craft these you will be required to have 30 Tools, 30 Weapon Parts, 30 Dark Zone Crafting all in high end quality and 750 currency. Please note the currency type is currently unknown.

Also how to acquire these is a mystery, the only reference / connection that I can find is the following:

  • BOO Perk - Collecting all Mid1 Virus Samples awards 1 Epic Blueprint + 1 Legendary Blueprint.
  • BOO Perk - All Virus Samples in Mid2 are reveled on the map. Collecting all awards 1 Legendary Blueprint.
  • A reward for doing a "persistent event" called UN Building A.

I will updated this post when more solid information has been discovered.

Update
Damascus comes from Main Mission "General Assembly" as reward on completion.
Tenebrae is a Dark Zone vendor item that is for sale.
Liberator comes from the Special Gear Vendor in the base of operations.
